4-Stuff Inner-City Students Like (Weave)

31 Mar

It’s un-be-WEAVE-ABLE!!!! It’s a veritable cornucopia of colors…it’s 31 Flavors…NO! It’s a HAIR style?!

Yes, I discovered that hair weave seems to be the ONLY arena in which my students have first-hand knowledge of diversity. Inner-City students seem to like “integrate” weave! No discrimination there!

It’s like Crayola…but different because it’s for the hair and not the coloring book!

Your students should try The Cheesecake Factory. I heard it’s a great place for multi-racial family dinners! LOL!

Honestly, I think those weaves are pretty raw. I’d rock one if I could pull it off.

    “I don’t know what you’re bitching about, I like it.” Hotness V.L.

    Because it looks stupid.

And I’m also diggin’ on the grilles; time was, you brushed your teeth so they WOULDN’T look like that. Now, you pay to have it done. Stupid.
And another thing….where do all these “poor”, downtrodden black folk come up with the cash to buy all that gold? Chains, rings…..teeth.
And the expensive sneakers; and those flat-brimmed ballcaps, FUBU and South Pole stuff don’t come cheap, either. Yet all we hear about from the media is the poor, starving blacks living in the ghetto.
Frederick Douglass, George Washington Carver, Mary McCloud Bethune, where are you? You’ve been replaced by rappers and celebrity gangbangers.

    Talk about a bankrupt culture.

Ok so the colors are kinda fucked up for everyday wear. Looks like something that should have been kept at the hairshow….the styles minus the colors are very pretty! That took some skillz to pull off. Not everyone can do a fly azz 27 piece(sp?)! As far the comment about folks in the hood buying gold and expensive ass shoes…well you would be able to buy 200 dollars J’s too if your rent wasnt but 50 a month, somebody was paying the lights for you and you got food stamps. Its all a scam honey. Use the system to get stuff like that taken care of so you can live “hood rich” or “Ghetto Fab”. Hell if I didnt take the time to go to school (got my B.S.) I probably would be taking advantage of that too! Can you blame them for doing something that they know they can get away with?? I didnt think so.
