Yes, I discovered that hair weave seems to be the ONLY arena in which my students have first-hand knowledge of diversity. Inner-City students seem to like “integrate” weave! No discrimination there!
It’s like Crayola…but different because it’s for the hair and not the coloring book!

Ok so the colors are kinda fucked up for everyday wear. Looks like something that should have been kept at the hairshow….the styles minus the colors are very pretty! That took some skillz to pull off. Not everyone can do a fly azz 27 piece(sp?)! As far the comment about folks in the hood buying gold and expensive ass shoes…well you would be able to buy 200 dollars J’s too if your rent wasnt but 50 a month, somebody was paying the lights for you and you got food stamps. Its all a scam honey. Use the system to get stuff like that taken care of so you can live “hood rich” or “Ghetto Fab”. Hell if I didnt take the time to go to school (got my B.S.) I probably would be taking advantage of that too! Can you blame them for doing something that they know they can get away with?? I didnt think so.
